Healing of Heart and Soul Individual and Relationship Counseling
Therapy services in-person in Denver, CO and online in AZ, SC, and US Virgin Islands
You’re committed to making your relationship work, you’re just not sure how.
You love your partner but recently, you’ve found yourselves stuck in the same old conflict.
Instead of resolving the issue, it’s like you both get caught up in “winning” the fight.
The honeymoon bliss has faded and you’re noticing that seeds of dissatisfaction and disconnection have been sown in the relationship.
Perhaps you also notice:
-
You struggle to respond vs. react during conflict
- As hard as you try, you notice your emotions get the best of you. You feel overcome with difficult feelings which cloud your thoughts and make it hard for you to share what you really think and feel.
-
You avoid asking for what you need due to fear of rejection…
- …Or maybe you’re not even sure what you need. It feels “easier” to prioritize what your partner wants, leaving a part of you feeling unheard and alone.

-
You feel misunderstood by your partner
- Because it’s hard for you to understand what’s going on internally, you frequently find your message getting lost in translation. So even though you spend a lot of time together, it still feels like there’s distance between you two.

Welcome, I'm Megan.
I work with couples from an Emotionally Focused Therapy approach to begin to understand the "dance" they are engaging in that has created disconnection, learn to understand themselves and their partner's experience in a new way, and be able to respond differently to create new ways of communicating and connecting.
I use a personable, empathetic, and engaging approach to help you make positive changes you are seeking for you, your relationship, or in your recovery from trauma. My goal is for you to experience more joy in your day to day life, feel happier in your relationships, and experience greater emotional intimacy. It is possible to release those old beliefs about yourself. In a life led by courage, it is possible to grow and thrive instead of simply surviving.

Our Denver Office
Information on Parking:
There is free parking in the garage. Just enter the garage where you see the 975 building sign (not 925) and please pay attention to the signage as you drive on the opposite side of the garage as you would think. You can park in any unmarked parking spot (one without a business name). If you park on the second level near the "Mollner Dentistry" sign on the garage wall, you can enter the double doors into the building, and my suite is on the left. The ground floor has street side metered parking options, and, if you park on the ground level, you would just enter the building through the glass doors, once the doorman has "buzzed" you in, and take the elevator to the second level.
